Apr 22, 20242024-08-15 called – used web form – for washing machine past extended warranty and damaged by flood that flooded all of Montreal. Appointment set for next day. Repairman very polite, efficient, very good explanation. Unit is 11 years old and likely water got onto a printed circuit. Should have left it to dry three days. Do that now and then try again. Only two printed circuits and one is no longer provided by Samsung (discontinued part) and the other is $800 installed. Better to replace than repair if drying does not work. He will call back in five days to see if that worked. $149 total charge. Astonishingly excellent service. He did note that “all my calls this week seem to be about flooded appliances”
