Despite the inevitable, Jay kept on trying ‘one more thing’ before giving up. Our dishwasher was not cleaning the dishes to my satisfaction. We requested a technician to come have a look and the service received was more than satisfactory. All parts of the machine were checked and confirmed satisfactory. The issue was with the detergent being used and the lack of blue fluid which I ran out of and failed to replenish on a timely basis. I called the company because my oven door had locked after a self clean. The person on the phone booked an appointment for the next day with a technician. The tech arrived as expected, diagnosed the problem, offered an estimate. He said the next day was when he would come back to fix the control board after the item was ordered. There was a three day delay but that wasn’t an issue because he had kept me informed everyday that the part hadn’t arrived. In all honesty I wasn’t expecting a four day turnaround, my other repair company had me waiting for over a week before anyone came to inspect the problem. Needless to say I am happy with my experience. Not only did they fix my oven, it was handled professionally and politely. The technician was very respectful of my space and I truly appreciated his courtesy calls.

Our washing machine unexpectedly stopped working mid-cycle in the afternoon, with a load of clothing inside. A technician arrived at around 8:00 pm the same day–communicating his progress with me en route. He was able to extract the wet clothes from the washer. Unfortunately, the problem with the washing machine was its power board, a very expensive part to replace. The technician said he might be able to find a used part for me but that it was probably best to replace the washing machine–which is what we did. I was pleased with the technician’s communication, reliability, and diagnosis of/solution for the problem. I would definitely use Appliance Repair Expert again.

Had an issue with our Kenmore Elite oven displaying an “F10” error code resulting in a runaway temperature overheating problem. Appliance Repair scheduled a technician who came out the very next morning. Joseph – the Technician — was knowledgeable and quickly diagnosed the issue with our stove and fixed it by replacing the faulty oven temperature sensor.
