I was very pleased with the service Hoang Le provided. He determined there was no leaking from the washer and suggested what to do to try and find or avoid the leaking from the pipe. Also he advised to have a plumber inspect the pipes. Would definitely recommend the Appliance Repair Expert service.

Edit: After seeing my first review the company reached out, apologized for the delay and rectified the situation. I am happy with the resolution they provided. Initially a positive experience with a diagnostic visit for my fridge. But I needed to get my landlord’s authorization because the repair quote was higher than expected, so I couldn’t book the repair then and there. At least a dozen attempts on my end to schedule the repair and nothing. They don’t answer. Tried calling from a different number and they answered, said they would tell the tech to call me, only to hear nothing. Given the lack of responsiveness I would like to get a refund on the service call, but I don’t expect I could even get a hold of someone to ask…

I appreciate their efforts to make things right and would now consider using their service again in future. ——————————————————————— “We recently had an incredibly frustrating experience with a technician from Appliance repair expert. My refrigerator was malfunctioning so we scheduled a service call. He was rude and dismissive from the beginning and conducted a hasty diagnosis. He said there was a major issue with the compressor and it is irreparable. He left saying no one can fix this issue and we should get a new refrigerator. However, when we booked another diagnostic appointment with other company they found out the problem was simply with the fan which was not able to blow air properly. After rellacing the fan our refrigerator is working great. I escalated this matter to the manager asking for refund for false diagnosis and the harassment I was met with complete silence. This lack of commitment and accountability is unacceptable.I am deeply disappointed with both the technicians unprofessional conduct and company’s failure to address my concern.”

I want to thank Nijat and his technician for such excellent service. We had requested a service call from a competitor and the tech spent 5 minutes looking at our Bosch gas range and told us it was an ignitor issue. I knew this wasnt true as the gas element was igniting but went out within 30 seconds. He charged us $150 for a service call and when we asked him to order the parts and to make an appointment to fix it, he told us the parts were not available. Nijat was a completely different story. The two techs that came out were super friendly and spent about an hour troubleshooting the issue. It turens out it was a dirty connection and a faulty temperature gauge. Nijat was able to get our oven working and told us he was not going to charge us until the part came in. As soon as the part was in he called and just fixed our range. I recommend Appliance Repair Experts without reservation!

Had a pretty good experience with Appliance Repair Expert. Called them on Friday afternoon since our 2 year old Samsung Dryer was making a grinding sound. Was able to book an appointment for Monday. The technician Kamal arrived within the scheduled time window and was knowledgable, professional and friendly. Asked me to provide him with our handheld vacuum so he can clean inside our dryer and around the work area. Spent a bit more than I had hoped, but he had parts in his van and was able to fix our dryer in the same visit within about 1.5 hrs. Would recommend their services.

Hoang Le was the technician sent to look at our older Kenmore top load washer. Hoang showed us the obvious problem and explained that our washer was too old to have the hose part in stock anywhere, being obsolete. He suggested that I try using an alternate hose part (that he left with me), rather than buying an overpriced OEM hose from eBay. A little bit of alterations and some silicon caulk, the washer is back together. Hoang was polite, honest, tidy and very helpful. Hoang did a great job! We have a 14 year old Kenmore induction stove with a convection oven. A spark appeared in the back, causing an error message to appear, and then a second spark caused the oven controls to stop working. Hoang showed us what was wrong in the back and explained the fix. He installed a replacement circuit board and made sure all of the wiring was in good shape to make sure it won’t happen again. He was polite and explained things well. Thanks Hoang!

The technician did a good job but the service charge was over $300,00 which included a $41.00 for the new replacement piece. He was finished within 15 minutes. So I find about $250.00 for 15 minutes work to be outrageous (that equates to about $1000.00 an hour). The service was to fix a dryer, not brain surgery !!!!
