A technician arrived at around 8:00 pm the same day–communicating his progress with me en route. He was able to extract the wet clothes from the washer. Unfortunately, the problem with the washing machine was its power board, a very expensive part to replace. The technician said he might be able to find a used part for me but that it was probably best to replace the washing machine–which is what we did. I was pleased with the technician’s communication, reliability, and diagnosis of/solution for the problem. I would definitely use Appliance Repair Expert again.
