Very professional and helpful technician came to our house to eliminate a squeeky noise in our dryer. Unfortunately we couldn’t reproduce the noise while he was here, but he disassembled, lubricated, cleaned and reassembled the entire machine anyway. We were charged for one hour of labour, but he said that if the noise ever came back he would return and fix it without additional labor fees. Our dryer is in a tight spot in the back room, so it wasn’t an easy job. I really appreciate what he did and his willingness to go the extra mile. Would recommend and use in the future. Update: the dryer died one week later. We have to buy a new one now.

How to remedy: disconnect the refrigerator from the mains and examine the air flap controlling airflow from the refrigerator compartment to the freezer compartment for any damage. In case the air damper is damaged, it needs replacement.

Refrigerator compartment temperature sensor malfunction

How to remedy: disconnect the refrigerator from the mains, check the cable harness leading to the temperature sensor, and reconnect it if it is loose. In case the cable harness is damaged beyond repair, replace it. If the cable harness is intact, it is the refrigerator compartment temperature sensor that needs replacement.

Main control unit and user interface control fail to communicate

How to remedy: disconnect the refrigerator from the mains. Examine the cable harness connections on the user interface control and the main control unit. If you see any loose wires, reconnect them back in place. In case the cable harness connections are in good shape, it is the user interface control that needs replacement. If the error code returns after you have replaced the user interface control, it is the main control unit that needs replacement.
