The freezer compartment has lost its normal temperature conditions

Examine your frozen food for thawing. Verify that your fridge and freezer have their doors shut in a proper way. Check the door rubber gaskets and replace them with new ones if damaged. Once you have returned your fridge to its normal condition, press the System Check button to reset the appliance and wait for some other possible appliance system malfunctions. In case you see the PF code, it looks like the FF code was caused by a power failure. Now, try keeping the fridge and freezer compartments shut for as long as possible to allow your refrigerating appliance to gain necessary thermal conditions in both compartments.

The temporary power failure

Verify if the appliance power cord is plugged into the electrical mains grid outlet the way it should. Once you see the power cord damaged, replace it with a new one. Look into the freezer and fridge compartments and see if your food hasn’t spoiled. Dispose of the spoiled food if any. Finally, press the System Check button to reset your appliance and see if no other errors are returned.

Your appliance has a faulty ice maker

We recommend you to clear the ice mold from the ice cubes. See if the ice mold is filled with water. If not, make sure the water supply to the ice maker is not blocked. In case you turned off the water supply tap, we recommend turning off the ice maker assembly as well. After that, press the System Check button and reset your refrigerating appliance. Look for some other possible system malfunctions. In case the CI code persists, it is the ice maker assembly that needs replacement.

Malfunction in the fridge defrost system

The fridge defrost system has not run the required defrost routine for more than 48 hours. Disconnect your refrigerating appliance from the mains network, examine the wiring leading to the fridge defrost system unit, and reconnect any loose wires back in their place. In case the wiring is badly damaged, replace it with a new one. You may also want to test the fridge defrost heater and install a new part instead of a damaged one. However, keep in mind that the refrigerating appliance may operate and skip the required defrost cycle under certain conditions, for example, when the surrounding temperature is below 55 °F. Press the System Check button to reset the fridge once you found everything operational.

The thermal conditions in your freezer compartment is higher than needed

The freezer temperature has been above normal for longer than 2 hours. Read your user manual to set the necessary thermal conditions. Verify if the freezer door is shut tight. Once you see the door rubber gaskets damaged, replace them. Now, press the System Check button and clear the error and reset your refrigerating appliance. See if no other possible system malfunctions are revealed.

Our dryer broke down a couple hours(maybe 3 ish I think) before supper on a Thursday afternoon. After talking to 3 different repair services which were all unable to help us, I came upon “APPLIANCE REPAIR EXPERT.”They immediately accepted our Plea for same day service ! What a RELIEF!!! Within a couple of hours he was there! The gentlemen was right on time, pleasant, Efficient, respectful, and we we both felt the cost was fair, considering we got same day service!! Excellent service that came same day! Thorough work. No concerns with the job done. I was confused about the difference between the diagnostic fee and the service fee. My confusion was that I thought the problem would be diagnosed then I would be told what the issue was and then decide on going ahead and fixing it for the service fee. For example, I was told the issue with the dishwasher not draining could be one of three things: the pump, the fuse, or the drain hose is clogged; and if for example its the pump then it’ll cost XX dollars for the service plus the cost of the pump which is YY dollars. I took that literally, thinking that was the price for the pump and there would be varying prices for the other services depending on what the issue was (because fixing the pump sounded more intensive than changing a fuse or unclogging a drain hose) but it’s just a set fee for diagnostic and a set fee for labour, regardless of the intensity of the labour required (the diagnostic fee is waived if you go ahead with the fix, you just pay the labour fee). PLUS any parts are on top of that price. So I agreed for him to go ahead, thinking I still had the option to opt out when he figured out what the issue was but later I found him fixing a clogged hose and being charged the same fee as a pump replacement (with the added bonus that there was not parts costs associated with it). Hope that helps clarify for anyone else getting the service. Overall, a great service and would recommend to anyone.

I want to thank Nijat and his technician for such excellent service. We had requested a service call from a competitor and the tech spent 5 minutes looking at our Bosch gas range and told us it was an ignitor issue. I knew this wasnt true as the gas element was igniting but went out within 30 seconds. He charged us $150 for a service call and when we asked him to order the parts and to make an appointment to fix it, he told us the parts were not available. Nijat was a completely different story. The two techs that came out were super friendly and spent about an hour troubleshooting the issue. It turens out it was a dirty connection and a faulty temperature gauge. Nijat was able to get our oven working and told us he was not going to charge us until the part came in. As soon as the part was in he called and just fixed our range. I recommend Appliance Repair Experts without reservation!
