I had an issue with my Maytag Commercial washer that is about 10-12 years old, where it wouldn’t advance to the spin cycle. I called for a service assessment and the technician, Alex, arrived the next day at the appointed time. He took one look at the washer and immediately knew what the problem was. He ran the diagnostics and explained to me what was going on with it. At the end, he outlined approximately what each part would cost, and where the total cost of parts and labor was more than I paid for it originally, I opted to not have it repaired. I asked for his opinion on the best machine to buy to replace it and he gave me some good advice. I would highly recommend this company, and Alex, to anyone who wants an honest opinion about whether an appliance is worth fixing. What I liked about this company, was that if I did decide to go ahead with a repair, that the service charge for the call and diagnostics would be waived from the final bill.

On May 2 x4 weekend 2026 our washing machine broke down. I called appliance repair for a service call. To my surprise, they said they could have somebody come out and look at it on Sunday. The technician showed up on Sunday turns out the washing machine pump needed to be replaced. The technician said if I agree, he can order the pump and he’ll be in the next day to fix it. Well, the next day was a Monday. I think I asked him two or three times are you sure you’re gonna be back Monday. He said Yep not to worry. I’ll be back in Monday afternoon. Sure enough he showed up Monday afternoon to replace the pump and the washing machine is working fine. The technician was very polite cleaned up after himself and we were very happy. The next time we need help with an appliance, we will definitely call back to appliance repair and have them fix the next appliance that breaks down. Andrew Strachan
