My washer had developed a loud noise during the spin cycle and I wanted it looked at before anything catastrophic occurred. I found Appliance Repair Expert on the internet and sent a service request. I was contacted immediately and offered next day service with an appointment window. I got a call as the tech was in his way with both a text and an e-mail. Faisal and his helper arrived promptly, diagnosed the problem quickly and decided they could repair it immediately. The problem was a worn bearing and needed the whole machine taken apart. A couple hours later the job was done, the machine tested and all perfect. Payment was easy and customer follow up brilliant. Would I have Appliance Repair Expert fix my appliances again? Booked an appointment to have my dryer checked. Got a confirmation for 5-9pm, technician called if they can come by earlier in the day and I said I can get off work an hour early to be home by 4pm. Tech did not show up for the appointment. I was expecting to have a good experience since the google review is pretty good. Will give my business to other company that will actually show up. Changing my review to 4 stars since Alex is trying to make it right for calling few times and offering a free service for future use.

My washer died midload on Sunday night. Googled appliance repair services near me & checked the reviews. At 8:30 Sunday night I sent a request for service & promptly received a text that someone would get ahold of me shortly. I assumed they would call Monday morning, but they called around 8:50 pm. We set up the appointment for Monday between 10-2, he also stated the technician would call before he came. Technician called & arrived around 11:15ish. He did a quick check on the washer, I was just hoping it was the springs or suspension bar that broke off the drum but it was the drum transmission. He check on the price of the part, 500.00. The washer being 13 years old it wasn’t worth fixing, they are on sale right now for 5-600.00. Technician was polite & knowledgeable. Would definitely use them again.

Mr. Adam called on time and was terrific from start to finish. He installed our machine, taught us things about it, and even gave us laundry pointers we should have, but did not yet know, in our 40s. This ease of service was especially striking bc I had already dealt with CAS who wouldn’t deliver or send anyone until January; then Home Depot delivered but their installers refused to hook it up bc, literally, “the location is closed on three sides.” Huh? That’s why we got the Whirlpool laundry center: it’s designed for a closet. We had had a normal-sized washer there for decades. Searching around for an installer, ARE was not only the most cost-effective, but they were also the soonest, and the person on the phone was both professional and chill—best of both worlds. They even made follow-up calls to make sure everything was good.

A technician arrived at around 8:00 pm the same day–communicating his progress with me en route. He was able to extract the wet clothes from the washer. Unfortunately, the problem with the washing machine was its power board, a very expensive part to replace. The technician said he might be able to find a used part for me but that it was probably best to replace the washing machine–which is what we did.
